Loan Servicing & Tracking
Cortex provides a Net-native structured finance platform for Servicers to manage loans, leases, trade receivables, future flows, and any expected flow of cash. The system handles conventions for calculating accrued interest, payment frequency on various fixed and floating rate indices.

Deal Structuring
Cortex provides the investment banker with improved pool analysis, tranche structuring and reporting capabilities. Cortex has been used to manage deals ranging in complexity from equipment leases through trade receivables and Collateralized Debt Obligations.

Bond Issuance
Cortex provides the issuer with far lower costs on distribution of deal information, which in turn enhances its ability to do a larger number of deals of potentially smaller sizes. The issuer can also use Cortex's distributed implementation to aggregate pools of assets from multiple conduits to achieve critical mass for a deal.

Bond Rating
Cortex makes the process of providing deal information to rating agencies as easy as providing a log in ID to the rating agency. Using this log in, the rating agency can access the historical asset performance, issuer provided stratification reports, pool covenants, and can use the data mining facility to generate any number of additional reports and stress tests, as needed.

Deal Management
Cortex provides the Trustee complete automation of deal management. With the integration of the servicing system with the deal structure, cash applied at the individual loan or asset level flows instantly to the static pool report and on to the tranche monitoring reports, allowing the Trustee to automate cash distribution.

Investor Reporting
Cortex offers investors real time access to bond and collateral performance over the Web site or via email. Investors can monitor pool compliance with built-in covenants, and set up private covenants and stratification reports for additional internal risk monitoring.
